Interesting time practicing with a studio set-up of three lights: Back Light, Key Light, and Fill Light. In hindsight, I think my classmates and I were so focused on the technical stuff that we forgot to work on encouraging any expression from our volunteer portrait subjects. I'd like to try this practice a few more times to get a better handle on it. Glasses and slight variations in positions of the lights made a significant difference in the end products.

I've included two here because the first was a little out of focus but showed the butterfly effect better. The second is sharper but not as clear a butterfly shadow. Still, I like the intensity of the image.
